本日は、Microsoft Ignite 2019 で発表になった大きな変更についてお伝えします。
皆さんご存じの System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) ですが、名前を Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) に変更すると発表がありました！
これからは、MECM として製品がリリースされる予定です。日本時間の 2019/11/06 にリリースされた Configuration Manager Technical Preview 1911 では、既に名前が Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) に変更されています。おそらく、数週間後にリリースされる Current Branch 1910 では、Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) と製品名が変更されているかと思います。
また、Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) は Microsoft Endpoint Manager ブランドのうちの一つの製品になります。
Microsoft Endpoint Manager の製品一覧は下記の通りです。
- Configuration Manager
- Intune
- Desktop Analytics
- Autopilot
- Other features in the Device Management Admin Console
